Home equipment

When time is tight or you just want to keep revving up the metabolism, check out these items. Push up bars, fitness wheel and handgrips are a great way to get some exercise in when you're travelling or not able to make it to the gym.

Also, casein protein in cottage cheese may be good, but only in moderation while taking before bedtime. At least while I'm trying to change my numbers, I'm not going to be eating this before bed any longer. Doh!

Dave,
Try adding sets of modified pushups after the regular pushups. Also, pushups off of the kitchen table standing up hits your muscles in a slightly different angle.

It is kind of a catch 22 with the cottage cheese. It keeps your body from catabolizing muscle and "fat" in the middle of the night. Overall though I think you made the right decision, because being at a standstill, I know I was at one for 3 months, is discouraging. Keep up the great podcasts.

Dave,
Try to do modified(girl) pushups at the end of your regular pushups. It can help you really push your muscles to failure. I do chest and back on the same day in the gym so I can add pushups to the routine. I like it the best for working chest and back. Looking forward to your next podcast.

Dave,
Your missed. Workouts aren't as much fan without a new zap120 podcast, or at least a phone call. I have switched to listening to Burns and allen radio shows from archive.org. They keep me laughing and keep me from being sad because theere is no more Dave O shows. Everybody misses you.
