1 pound is sticking!

I can't seem to shake this last pound. I have until the 31st to reach my January goal so I'm not going to beat myself up yet. I took a day off today and increased the calories slightly. I think that my metabolism is stalling as I was incorporating TOO much of a deficit and backfiring nature's furnace.

Peace,
Dave

Dave,
Your doing great. I am stuck in breakevenville, but I know it is going to turn around. I enjoy the zap120 podcast when I excercise.

How cool is it that; you've made such incredible progress that now you can actually fret over a pound?? Could you have imagined that when you first started? This is one of those moments you need to step outside yourself and think, "Wow, I've really come a long way."

Your attitude is awesome: your body is resetting it's internal scales right now, and you'll be off the plateu in no time. You're building muscle, which weighs more than fat. That muscle is going to work for you when you sleep. Keep smiling, Dave; that one stubborn pound is a signpost on your journey!! Keep it up!

Mine are sticking too! I am going to keep with what I am doing for a few more weeks, but when I shake up the exercise then, I may shake up the diet too. This may be a case of now my body needs less calories, but I haven't changed what I am eating. I'll have to research it some and get some data about what I'm eating now, caloric-content-wise. Hang in there though. I know it was Adam (Tinkoff) who said it to you initially, but you've repeated it on your 'cast and I've started to use it with myself: Your body is changing on a molecular level and sometimes that is hard to see. Keep up the good work and one day you'll wake up and find that last stickler of a pound gone. Talk to you soon.
