Weekend

Hi Everybody:

I've had great feedback from the podcast this weekend. Thank you for all of your comments and ideas via email. Hopefully, I'll get to all of them in the coming months. Kelly in PA, thank you so much for the creative ideas (more music) - we'll try to get some more tunes on the casts ASAP.

This weekend was awesome. I purchased a couple of raquetball raquets and balls and started hitting around with my son. Nothing serious, but I'm trying to get him moving and active as well. He's not overweight, but most habits and development of adult habits come from childhood. If he's active now and sees the value and benefit of exercise and healthy lifestyles, then hopefully he'll follow through as he gets older. He already chooses good ol' H2O during dinnertime rather than Apple Juice of Milk. That a boy! Thanks to my mom (thanks again mom!), I now have an iPod Nano to listen to podcasts and tunes with.

Dave O. I believe I was meant to find your podcast yesterday. My husband, Kevin, and I have once again vowed to take the weight off. We were successful in the early 90's using Weight Watchers. I wanted something more sexy, so I have used all the new ideas - and guess what? We are obese again!!! Our doctor told me to lose 50 and my husband 85 pounds. Thank you for sharing your daily trials and tribulations. We will be listening. Delilah/TN
