I was watching a documentaty about the crisis in the schools in the USA. They were focusing on the dilapidated buildings and lack of facilities.
What I found amazing is that the photos of the kids walking through the halls during the filming showed at least 90% of the kids were obese. I've been out of school for quite awhile and there was an overly large child in every class, but in this film they were the norm.
I saw a much different crisis than the one that was being portrayed in the documentary. It put a picture to all the literature. A picture is worth a thousand words, an old addage proven true again.
