Biking and the Diet

I really was enjoying biking up until my tailbone began hurting. I am going to have to lay off of the bike for a week or so to see if it heals. Biking was so much fun. I wasn't getting bored of cardio!

I also have been getting bored with my diet. I think I have to change up some things. I'm sick and tired of veggie burgers and protein shakes. Does anybody know a great and healthy cookbook that is for "Dummies"?

Peace, Dave

Dave, 3 things you can do. First read the article I have posted on my blog about the dangers of diets with too much protein. http://www.burningtwenty.com/2006/12/more-reasons-to-switch.html If that doesn't open your eyes, check out T. Colin Campbell's book "The China Study" http://www.thechinastudy.com - lastly for great recipes checkout the website http://www.compassionatecooks.com

Dave,
Have you thought about adding nuts to your diet? Almonds, cashews, walnuts, and macs all are loaded with good fats and they taste great!!!
Keep up the great podcasts.

Hi Dave!
Keep up the great work. I heard about your blog on Phedippidations, and understand the stuggles you are going through. Stand strong and know that you are not alone. DC

Try the "Five Ingredients, Fifteen Minutes" cookbook put out by Weight Watchers. It's my favorite cookbook!
