This is what keeps me going...Thank you Leo

ZOT #11 and a few phone calls are up! Go listen and send feedback OFTEN.

Post in the forums and motivate yourself.

Apparently our forum is getting a lot of views but very few posts. For the benefit of those who wish to share their stories, I'm leaving it up. I really think that this is a great vehicle that will allow people to be totally honest to themselves during their weight loss. I'd like to share a recent posting that touched me. Leo also sent me an email and he and I are going to start working on his motivation. Leo, you WILL do this and you WILL be happier. Thank you for sharing. Here is his post.

Hi Dave O. My name is Leo, and I just found your podcast about a week ago. I have always been overweight, but everytime I get started losing weight and trying to change my lifestyle, I sabotage myself and balloon back up.

Over the years, I have learned a lot about fitness, both the cardio and the anaerobic exercise. It's the implementation I have always fallen down on in the past.

Anyway, this January 1st, I am starting my journey to changing my life once again. A few family members and I are each putting some cash into the pot, and whoever makes the most progress on the July 1st for percentage of weight lost gets the pot. If I lose the money and am lighter and have made fitness a part of my life, I figure I'll have won anyway.

Enough background, though. I just thought I would chime in about getting more out of your exercise. I have read that studies show working out more than once a day can multiply your benefits. People lost more fat working out the same amount of time but at two separate times in the day. I would suppose that it has something to do with becoming more what we are supposed to be like. Actually MOVING throught the day, which I haven't done in a very long time to any degree.

Thanks a lot, Dave O. I have caught up on the podcasts now, and I have subscribed. If your forums stay open, I will be there with you. I figure I should be losing about 90 lbs. Then I'd be more fit and leaner than I was in high school. And maybe I'd live a longer, healthier, happier life.

Keep up the good work.

Leo
